KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Bernama) -- NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) has bagged the Best Asian Telecom Carrier and Best International Wholesale Carrier awards at the Telecom Asia Awards 2019.
The company was named Best Asian Telecom Carrier, the award’s top prize, in recognition of it being the best performing telecom operator in Asia for innovative product portfolio and business models, business execution, financial performance, market and technology leadership and customer care.
The Best International Wholesale Carrier award recognises global carriers creating innovative business models that redefine the standards of service and commitment to the customer.
Questex Media, Regional Content and Strategy Director (Enterprise Solutions), Allan Tan said: “NTT Com’s win represents a shining example of redefining innovation standards in the digital economy.”
Now in its 22nd year, the awards are the region’s longest-running and most prestigious telecom industry awards.
The winners were chosen by a panel of 10 independent judges on the basis of innovation, financial performance, technology, market leadership and corporate governance.
