IFLYTEK LAUNCHES GUIDEX INTELLIGENT INTERACTION AGENT FOR PUBLIC SERVICES

KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 (Bernama) -- iFLYTEK has launched GuideX, an intelligent interaction agent for public service environments, at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026.

Unlike conventional digital humans that only answer questions, GuideX is built to complete tasks based on three capabilities, namely omnimodal, self-regulation and empathy-driven, according to iFLYTEK in a statement.

The first capability, omnimodal perception, lets GuideX work in crowded venues by fusing voice, face, position, lip movement and spatial context to identify who is speaking, from where and why. It supports more than 30 languages, with 97.35 per cent English recognition accuracy.

In addition, it delivers 95.12 per cent end-to-end accuracy, alongside more than 200 avatars and over 100 ultra-realistic voices. The full chain, from wake-up to response, takes 0.42 seconds even under heavy load.

Meanwhile, the self-regulation capability turns conversations into completed tasks. Once a task is identified, a dual-track mechanism determines how to handle it, with routine cases following fixed policies while complex cases move to adaptive reasoning. Both draw on SkillHub, iFLYTEK's skills platform, which now carries more than 10,000 skills and can be extended without coding.

The empathy-driven capability enables more human-like interactions by reading emotional context and responding accordingly. With users' consent, GuideX combines facial recognition with scene memory to retain service context and preferences, allowing returning users to resume where they left off.

Deployed across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, Latin America and Africa, GuideX runs on smart terminals, all-in-one machines, transparent displays, web and mobile apps.

iFLYTEK said it also launched the GuideX Navigator Program with eight ecosystem partners spanning government services, transportation, hospitality, tourism and smart commerce.
